REO - Elevate your mobile experience
REO is a web and mobile platform designed to streamline property, client, sales, and rental management for real estate professionals.
As a company highly focused on product and user experience, designers played a crucial role in shaping the roadmap for the REO web platform and app. By conducting weekly user tests with both current and potential customers, the design and business teams drove the design process and iterated on features to meet customer needs. This approach allowed REO to disrupt the real estate management software industry in Germany by introducing a design-led product that customers loved using. Here, I will highlight some user flows I worked on during my time at REO.

Problem Statement
REO wants to address the problem of fragmented information and inefficient workflows in the real estate industry. Customers struggle with data scattered across various platforms, leading to lost information and difficulty managing multiple leads simultaneously. They seek to optimize repetitive tasks, prevent lead loss during the sales process, and require a mobile-friendly solution to accommodate their on-the-go work nature. Additionally, they are frustrated with the legacy software they have been using for years, which has grown overly complex and cumbersome.
Solution
Through some serious product design magic, in a group of 3 Designers we cooked up a solution that really gets what real estate pros need. By zooming in on the most important workflows and pain points, we've designed and built a platform that's not just scalable and adaptable but also super easy and fun to use. Our design-first approach means everything's streamlined and intuitive, reducing unnecessary complexity making real estate management a breeze whether you're at your desk or on the move.

Dashboard
In addition to implementing a calendar linked to property information, one of my initial tasks in Real Estate Operations (REO) was to enhance our dashboard to serve as a seamless tool for customers, improving their ability to track progress and manage property viewings efficiently.
To achieve this, I introduced a new widget named "Leads" within the dashboard. This widget streamlined the management of new customer contacts originating from various Real Estate Marketplaces. Each lead could be easily categorized as read or unread, allowing teams to prioritize and follow up effectively.
This solution proved highly scalable across different types of broker teams using our platform. From smaller teams operating independently without dedicated back-office support to larger international brokerages like Engel & Voelkers, the "Leads" widget provided a unified interface for managing customer interactions and optimizing lead conversion processes.
By integrating the calendar feature with property information and implementing the "Leads" widget, our dashboard became a comprehensive tool that not only facilitated property viewing scheduling but also enhanced overall customer relationship management. This initiative significantly contributed to improving efficiency and transparency for our customers.
